Mad River Canoes: Lamoille
Mad River Canoes: Lamoille photo
The asymmetrical shallow V hull has a touch of rocker for maneuverability and a large expedition-size carrying capacity. The streamlined bow and stern maintain the sheerline all the way aft of the bow seat to easily shed waves. Available in three hull constructions the strong and rigid Lamoille stands alone for its combined handling of flatwater cruising, whitewater performance and wilderness tripping.

Lamoille

Our premier performance tripping canoe, the fast-cruising Lamoille, is both stable and seaworthy. Its big, dry hull cuts through waves for efficient open water paddling and does not pitch and skate in quartering winds and following seas. Unlike other large canoes which become sluggish when heavily laden, the Lamoille maintains its speed. The Lightweight version of our Lamoille is ideal for boundary waters style canoeing.
