The V shaped hull affords good tracking on lakes and ponds. The low profile of this 16 footer minimizes the adverse effects of wind and enhances seaworthiness. For maximum weight savings, the Eclipse can he equipped with our aluminum gunwale system.

The Mad River Eclipse is a stylish tandem boat, a lightweight, easy paddling craft designed for weekend getaways and day touring. Similar in concept to our popular Malecite, sleeker and faster than the Quest, the Eclipse offers performance, stability, and durability in a Royalex Lightweight boat. It is the most cruising oriented Royalex canoe we offer. For solo paddling, a center seat may be added.| Designer:
