River Canoes: Duck Hunter 16' and 17'
This rugged, Royalex model features an Olive Drab color inside and
out, dark stained and oiled gunwales with slotted inwales, stained portage
yoke, and a second thwart for tying in gear. Also available is a low-maintenance
version featuring vinyl gunwales and ash-framed black web seats.
Duck Hunter
The Duck Hunter is a dual purpose Mad River canoe designed for the sports-minded
paddler who wants a craft well-suited for waterfowling, fishing, birdwatching,
or nature photography, yet versatile enough to serve as a family recreational
craft. The ancestry of the Duck Hunter is revealed in its hull shapes,
with the 16 footer based on the popular Royalex Explorer, and the 17 footer
based on the high-volume Revelation.
