Door-to-door delivery and free weeekends in the Texas Hill Country?

Delivery available anywhere in Texas or come to the Hill Country to pickup your composite hull kayak and stay here on the Guadalupe at any of the picturesque Resorts/Lodges as our guest.

A new boat on the Guadalupe River— a free weekend in the mountains of the beautiful Hill Country...more fun than traffic and going to a metro strip center for your new boat.  Get outta' town.

What model canoe/kayak should I buy?"

There is no one single design canoe or kayak that does everything perfectly.  A recent magazine survey reported that the average canoeist and/or kayakist owns 3 boats.  It is not uncommon for canoe clubs to have 400 members who will own 1400 boats.  Texas rivers are a mix of large tumbling rapids and shallow rocky streambeds, so if you plan to own only one canoe, and if low maintanence is your priority, a Royalex® hull would be the best choice.  A hull made of Royalex® needs as much maintenance as does a shotput.

Contact 2-3 canoe/kayak dealers, not the "big-box" outdoor equipment chain stores or combo fishing tackle dealers; discuss with them how you intend to use the boat, then buy from the dealer who impressed you the most, not with the price, but rather the length of time they have been in the canoe & kayak business, their knowledge of the canoes & kayaks, and their willingness to spend time with you.  For years-n-years to come, this small canoe/kayak shop will also be the same one you can pickup the phone and call or e-mail whenever you just have a quick question.  Over the 30yr. lifespan of your boat you'll get far more outta' them in free-stuff than they will make on selling you your first canoe or kayak.  Absolutely - positively...be sure they are Factory Certified Repair Centers  with on-site repair facilities.
